What is a Sphere anyway ?
Glad you asked. A Sphere is an album of a particular size placed on a map which any number people can add their items to.
When can I use sphere.photos ?
Anytime you want to gather and share items with others at a party, wedding, outing, holiday, meeting, etc.
Do I need to share my phone number ?
No. Unlike some other mobile apps, sphere.photos
does not require your mobile number.
Who can see the photos in the Sphere ?
You decide. You have complete control over who can add, view, download or delete items from a Sphere.

Why is it called sphere.photos ?
All photos, videos, etc are shared via an album on the map called a Sphere :-)
Can I use it on a tablet ?
Yes! The app has been optimised to work on all mobile devices.
Are there any tutorials ?
Yes. See the videos on YouTube.
Can I upload videos ?
Yes supported packages allow videos to be uploaded.
Is it really free ?
Yes you can create as many free 30 Day Spheres as you want.
What else can I share ?
You can upload and share any type of file :-) eg. PDF, Word, Excel, MP3 Music,...
Can I add items from my computer ?
Yes, you can upload items directly from your laptop or computer. They do not need to be on your mobile/tablet :-)
Can others see my exact location ?
No. When you register you set your city and country. This is the only location information visible to others - to allow searching to work effectively.
How can I tell how much free space I have ?
See the "Storage Summary" menu option. This will show you a summary of the storage available and usage by each Sphere.
Can I group Spheres together ?
Yes. Create a 'Supersphere' under the 'Superspheres' tab. This will allow you to group related Spheres eg. Different Spheres from the same holiday.
How do I invite others to my Sphere ?
You can send them an invite, send them a password or send them a QR Code to scan. All of which can be done from within the app :-)
Can others see my Spheres on their map ?
No. Spheres will not appear on other users map unless they are a member of your Sphere.
Can I approve photos being added by others before they are visible to other members ?
Yes. Turn off Autoapprove' under the Sphere settings for new members. You can also apply this individually for selected members. Turn off the members 'Autoapprove' under the 'Members' Tab.
I want to give several Spheres access to the same set of people. Do I manually have to add each member to each Sphere ?
Create a Group (eg Family) once and add your users to it. You can then simply add the Group 'Family' to each Sphere.
How do I report unsuitable content or request content be removed ?
Click on the image in question and from the menu select the 'Report' option. This will allow you to type in your reason which will only be sent to sphere.photos support who will investigate.
How can I quickly view my recently viewed items/bookmarked favorites ?
Click the 'History' tab at the top of the main screen. Here you can view your recently viewed and bookmarked items.
